Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Progressive Care RN for night shift to provide close monitoring and assessments. You will perform autonomous clinical decisions, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout their stay.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, data collection, and escalation of life-threatening situations, with opportunities to educate patients on medications and treatments.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(RN) Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse Diploma
Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
No Travel Required
Min one year of experience Required

Responsibilities

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively
Monitor critical vital signs enabling intervention of life threatening situations
Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
