Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group seeks a night-shift supervisor to lead a weld finishing and loading crew at our Grand Prairie plant. You’ll use your welding knowledge and ability to read blueprints to convert plans into safe, on-time results.

You will coordinate finishing, outlets/specials, and loading, schedule materials, and provide floor leadership to improve safety, quality, and production. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish and 2+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required (speak, read, write, communicate).
• 2+ years leading teams in manufacturing or production support.
• Welding knowledge and ability to read blueprints/specs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead night-shift crew to execute finishing, outlets/specials, and loading per plan.
• Coordinate material delivery scheduling and staging to meet deadlines.
• Provide visible floor leadership to strengthen safety, quality, and production standards.
• Develop actionable plans to meet deadlines and responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with production leaders and engineering to keep projects on schedule.
