Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate manufacturing activities on a 6pm–6am Pittman schedule, 3on/2off/2on/3off. You will drive Lean/5S initiatives, manage inventories, ensure EHS compliance, and mentor frontline staff.

You will lead daily workflow planning, optimize unit profitability, and report production metrics to site leadership, while coordinating with vendors and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of water treatment processes including deionization, softening, reverse osmosis and deoxygenation preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Knowledge of 5S and SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety Regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes working environment to achieve excellence in productivity, Quality, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• Acts as an EHS champion by promoting safety standards and incident prevention.
• Delivers regular internal reporting of production activities including SAP, Tableau, and site reports to leadership.
• Leads by example and develops relationships with plant staff and vendors.
• Manages logistics of preparing mobile water treatment equipment for dispatch to customer sites.
• Oversees improvements related to chemical usage, wastewater treatment, equipment turnover, procurement, and inventory management.
• Participates in hiring regeneration, door work, and membrane technicians.
• Ensures inventory-related orders are entered into SAP on schedule.
• Oversees training needs and ensures safety compliance.
• Provides hands-on support to maintain workflow and meet production goals safely.
• Manages daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Maintains compliance with wastewater permits.
• Manages work-permit process and safety procedures.
