Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co. seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee line workers and support the Operations Department with systems development, cost control, training, and capital project management.

The role ensures food safety and quality, audit compliance, and reports to the Production Manager from the Hendersonville, NC location. Responsibilities include leading a team, defining priorities, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement in procedures and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years previous experience in Manufacturing or a production environment.
• Must have experience using a PC and business information systems/software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and coach operators to resolve downtime and issues.
• Collaborate with operations to balance production and maintenance efforts.
• Maintain food safety and quality, and ensure audit compliance.
• Define project priorities and provide direction to production staff; monitor performance and audits.
• Lead the team, set expectations aligned with business objectives, and provide regular feedback.

Education

3-5 years manufacturing experience

PC and business information systems proficiency
