Job summary

Ventek Solutions is seeking an experienced Third Shift Supervisor to lead a manufacturing shift in Owosso, MI. You will oversee safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets while developing and coaching production staff on the Owosso facility.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Office tools. Spanish language ability is strongly preferred for this team, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of production supervision in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champions safety program and OSHA/compliance.
• Lead start-up, safety meetings, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop shift employees.
• Schedule staffing, vacations, absences, and overtime.
• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to resolve operational issues and improve shift performance.
