Job summary

KAAPA Ethanol, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to join our Aurora plant team. You will supervise crews, ensure safety and policy compliance, and help manage daily production, quality, and scheduling across a 24/7 operation.

The role requires 3+ years in ethanol plant supervision, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of production processes. Competitive benefits and a focus on safety and efficiency are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Engineering, Biochemistry, or related college degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in fuel ethanol plant supervision and process.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detailed oriented and multitasking skills essential.
• Technical ability to understand ethanol production.
• Experience in interviewing, selecting plant personnel, establishing performance objectives and criteria, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Documented successful track record in managing process facilities.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Crew Chiefs, Operators, Rover Operators.
• Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and policies.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Treat equipment and property properly.
• Attend safety meetings and follow safety policies.
• Assist in overseeing plant production.
• Maximize production efficiency and quality.
• Provide weekly performance evaluations for night staff.
• Schedule daily work assignments and shifts.
• Coordinate timecards reporting with payroll.
• Complete weekly purchasing for production needs.
• Address complaints promptly and courteously.
