Job summary

National Vision Holdings, Inc. is hiring an experienced Production Supervisor for our Plano, TX optical manufacturing facility.

The role oversees daily production department functions, staff hiring and development, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment to meet production goals. The position supports second/night shifts (3 days on, 4 days off), with competitive pay and bonus opportunities as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of directly related production supervision experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily functions of production departments to meet goals.
• Manage staffing and development of staff; maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Oversee workflow and utilize associates effectively; ensure timely processing of jobs.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and minimize disruptions.
• Review daily reports and manage lens and frame inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and production manager to resolve interdepartmental issues.
• Train leads and cross-train associates for multiple stations.
• Handle interviews, performance reviews, attendance, scheduling, and time off.
