Job summary

National Vision Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. The role focuses on supervising daily production functions, achieving goals, hiring and developing staff, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for associates.

The position works the 2nd/night shifts on a 3-day schedule, with pay and benefits including PTO, health insurance, and 401k matching. Prior supervisory experience and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate 3 to 5 years directly related experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is necessary.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities in assigned department(s), ensuring work flow and proper utilization of associates.
• Resolves breakage issues to keep breakages low.
• Conducts root cause analysis to identify issues and minimize disruption to production levels.
• Process and review daily reports.
• Trains lead associates, oversees associate training and cross trains associates to effectively perform at multiple stations within the department.
• Performs administrative functions including interviewing and selecting associates, reviewing performance, addressing issues, monitoring attendance, scheduling work and vacation time.
