Job summary

Elementia is hiring a night shift supervisor in North Carolina to lead a trained work team on the production line for fiber cement siding, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to SOPs.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and computer skills, and a commitment to safety. Night shift runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with potential overtime and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient in using computer.
• Able to work well on a team.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Willing to participate in safety committees and activities.
• Willing to wear all required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and evaluates the plant activities on a night shift (3-on, 3-off; 7:00PM to 7:00AM).
• Keeps shift informed of job duties, breaks and rotation.
• Responsible for employee productivity and output.
• Monitors safety, quality, housekeeping and quantities produced per shift.
• Ensures new employees are properly trained.
• Observes all SOPs and safety policies.
• Participates in training for environmental and safety performance.
• Performs tasks per environmental procedures and work instructions.
• Understands environmental impacts of job activities.
