Job summary

ADM Nutrition is seeking a full-time manufacturing operations manager in Erlanger, KY. You will lead daily production activities, mentor staff, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with complex manufacturing operations, and ability to drive improvements in productivity and cost reduction. On-site position with full-time responsibilities and regulatory compliance oversight.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred (Manufacturing technology, Engineering, Industrial management, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
• Data-driven problem solving skills (Six Sigma, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis).
• OSHA safety training.
• Experience leading production in a complex manufacturing environment with multi-team coordination and shift leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership for all manufacturing processes to meet schedules.
• Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate production colleagues on policies and performance.
• Monitor and ensure shift activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory guidelines (USDA, Kosher, GMP, HACCP).
• Track productivity, implement efficiency improvements, and reduce costs.
• Prepare and present reports to management.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate goals and priorities.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, ERP, MRP, and data-tracking software daily.
• Prioritize resources, equipment, and schedule to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate daily follow-through for solutions to manufacturing issues affecting orders and inventory.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions for quality, yield deviations.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure all shift activities are conducted under company safety, quality and regulatory (USDA, Kosher, GMP, HACCP, etc.) guidelines

• Daily usage of computer programs including Microsoft office suite, ERP, MRP, Data tracking software.
• Ability to quickly prioritize resources, activities, equipment, and schedule to ensure highest productivity level to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Strong ownership and communication of daily follow through for solutions to daily manufacturing issues, impact to customer orders, inventory accuracy, etc.
• Investigates root causes and sets corrective action plans for all quality, yield and other departmental deviations.
• Collaborate and develop continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives.
