Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience supervising production employees.
• Strong shop-floor execution knowledge.
• Experience managing staffing and production priorities.
• Experience using KPIs such as output, yield, cycle time.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using digital manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations for assigned production areas.
• Execute production plans with safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Set daily targets, priorities, staffing, and labor allocation.
• Monitor production performance and escalate constraints.
• Develop recovery plans when behind schedule.
• Maintain floor leadership and 5S standards.
• Direct supervision of production leads, technicians, assemblers, and operators.
• Manage staffing, attendance, overtime, training, and operator qualification.
• Provide coaching and actionable feedback.
• Address productivity, quality, attendance, and performance concerns.
• Support onboarding and develop leads and high-performing team members.
• Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, and Materials teams to resolve shortages.
• Serve as the primary Production representative for assigned areas.
• Communicate production status and risks to leadership.
• Support NPI and pilot builds as new products transition.
• Maintain handoffs between shifts and areas.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, throughput, and cost.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering on line balancing and process improvements.
• Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use data and feedback to drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Standardize successful processes across areas.
