Job summary

Paleovalley is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in a Mesa, AZ manufacturing facility. This salaried role focuses on safety, quality, and meeting production goals while mentoring frontline leaders and driving continuous improvement.

You will manage staffing across shifts, monitor key metrics, and work with Quality Assurance and Maintenance to ensure smooth, compliant production of nutrient-dense products.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in food, beverage, dietary supplement, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading or supervising production teams.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety practices, sanitation programs, and applicable FDA and/or USDA regulations.
• Experience managing production schedules, staffing, workflow, and daily manufacturing operations.
• Ability to interpret production metrics and use data to improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Production Leads and Production Associates by providing clear direction, regular feedback, coaching, and performance management that supports employee growth and accountability.
• Oversee daily production operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, safety expectations, and productivity goals are consistently achieved.
• Coordinate staffing, labor allocation, and production priorities throughout each shift to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor production performance using key metrics such as throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, waste, yield, schedule attainment, and OEE.
