Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking a Production Specialist to assemble products accurately according to design and schedules, performing tasks with minimal supervision to ensure quality. You will set up equipment, manage materials, and maintain inventory while working as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include repetitive line assembly, manual fitting using various tools, ensuring quotas and quality, and strict adherence to safety standards with prompt defect reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze work orders to ensure proper materials are provided.
• Set up equipment and materials to assemble products according to the design provided.
• Maintain inventory with accurate counts of products.
• Perform repetitive line assembly operations to produce a quality product.
• Manually fit and size products using various tools.
• Ensure production quotas are met while maintaining quality assembly.
• Adhere to safety requirements and report defects immediately.
