Job summary

MilliporeSigma is hiring for a role in the United States to manufacture or evaluate products following established protocols, and to provide technical support across the group. You will set up equipment, produce chemicals, and perform analytical tests while ensuring quality specifications are met and observations are documented.

The position requires a life science degree and at least 1 year in a chemical lab or manufacturing setting, with the capacity to work independently and train others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or life science.
• 1+ years in a chemical laboratory or manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture or evaluate products according to established protocols and provide technical support.
• Set up equipment, produce chemicals, and run analytical tests.
• Ensure final product quality specifications; document results per guidelines.
• Review protocols and suggest changes for management review.
• Train new employees and assist cross-training of current staff.
• Lead department when supervisor is absent or lead a small production group.
• Assist in scheduling duties and ensure tasks are completed as needed.
• Shift hours: Sunday–Thursday, 10pm–6:30am.
