Job summary

Ross & Wallace in Hammond, LA is seeking a Production Operator to operate and monitor paper fabrication machines on the Night Shift (4:30pm–3:00am, Monday–Thursday). The role focuses on maintaining safety, quality checks, and smooth machine operation to produce paper bags.

No formal experience required; training provided. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read and write basic math, and work well in a fast-paced environment. The position offers hourly pay and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols throughout the plant.

• Cut products to specified dimensions with hand or power tools.
• Load paper rolls and thread through gluing, coating, and slitting rollers.
• Monitor finished products to prevent jams; adjust guides as needed.
