Airgas in Spokane, WA is hiring a Production Operator I for night shift. The role focuses on loading/unloading cylinders, moving materials, operating a forklift, and supporting daily production tasks.

You will work with a team to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced gas production environment. The position requires candidates who can handle outdoor work in wide temperatures, follow PPE protocols, and maintain consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime to meet the production schedules.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
• May be exposed to noise or vibrations, hazards, potential explosives, burns or fumes.
• Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 110 degrees.
• Ability to perform very heavy work, lifting 50+ pounds and possibly more.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads cylinders from inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Operates a forklift to support material flow.
• Stages cylinders for filling and moves them as directed by production leadership.
• Inspects cylinders and reports discrepancies to leadership.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and follows PPE requirements.
• Regular attendance is essential for production schedules.
