Job summary

Freshpet is seeking a Production Operator for the Night Shift to prepare high-quality fresh pet meals. You will operate production equipment, monitor cooking processes, and assist with packaging and inventory rehearsals on a refrigerated line.

The role requires at least 1 year in production, ability to work in a team, and strong problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting. Competitive base pay with shift differential is offered and full benefits included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated (40 degrees) food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and move ingredients through cooking to packaging.
• Load ingredients manually and use computer terminals/PLC touch screens.
• Package cooked product, palletize and shrink wrap.
• Record data on production, verify batch ingredients and inventory.
• Assist with start-up, changeovers, shutdowns and machine maintenance.
