Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Production Operator to support our Flagstaff facility’s manufacturing and packaging operations. You will restock lines, monitor equipment, take quality samples, and assist with continuous improvement efforts across shifts, including mandatory overtime when needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or related environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supply production lines and meat prep stations with adequate supplies to ensure continuous operations.
• Measure, weigh, blend and add materials to manual or automated systems; adjust speeds and temperatures as needed.
• Pull samples and perform quality tests or deliver test samples to Quality Assurance.
• Visually inspect ingredients and pallets; remove any foreign materials from products.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Safely operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on operating equipment; follow lockout procedures.
• Support the factory in continuous improvement initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.
