Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Production Operator to join its Fort Dodge, IA facility. The role involves operating production lines, moving materials with a forklift, and supporting quality testing while working a 12-hour night shift (7 PM–7 AM) on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Supply production lines and meat prep stations to ensure continuous operations.
• Measure, weigh, blend and add materials; adjust speeds and temperatures as needed.
• Pull samples and perform quality tests; assist on quality trials or deliver samples to QA.
• Visually inspect ingredients; remove substandard pallets or cans.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; follow safety and cleaning procedures.
• Safely operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on equipment; follow lockout procedures.
• Support the factory in continuous improvement initiatives.
