Staffmark is hiring a Production Maintenance Mechanic in Alexandria, MN to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and safety in a food-grade manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate brings experience with hydraulics, mechatronics, and electrical systems, with ability to read technical manuals and schematics. The shift is 6:00pm–6:00am and compensation ranges from $30.00 to $36.00 per hour, with competitive

Qualifications

• Requires maintenance experience in manufacturing; able to read manuals and schematics.
• Experience with mechatronics, aseptic processing, or high-speed packaging is preferred.
• Boiler/Electrician licenses are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in food-grade manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, corrective, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair extraction, mix-blend, processing, filling, and production machinery.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs as directed by supervision.
• Inspect machinery for proper operation and compliance with production standards.
• Maintain clear communication with maintenance and production teams to support shift transitions.
• Identify unsafe conditions and promote a safe work environment.
