Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Production Maintenance Mechanic for our Alexandria, MN location. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including hydraulics, heat, and high-speed packaging lines.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient production. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in a food-grade manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years maintenance experience in a food-grade manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience with mechatronics, aseptic processing, or high-speed form/fill/seal packaging equipment preferred.
• Boiler license and/or Electrician's license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, corrective, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair extraction, mix-blend, processing, filling, and production machinery.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with production standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; assist with special projects as assigned.
