Stratas Foods is seeking a manufacturing associate for the Quincy, IL area to support line operations on various shifts. The role involves housekeeping, equipment operation, and material handling on the production line.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and be willing to learn multiple positions, adhere to safety practices, and document activities accurately. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams.
• Learn and follow written rules and procedures.
• Produce accurate documentation.

• Must fill in when needed in vacancies

Responsibilities

• Keep lines stocked with packaging materials.
• Fill out appropriate paper related to CCPs, production, packaging materials.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line.
• Communicate with supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issues.
• Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention.
• Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line.
• Proper start up, running and shut down of line.
• Basic Ammonia Operation.
• Knowledge of process flow from source tank to filling process.
• Understand and perform basic tasks within the M3 inventory system.
• Basic Votator/Perfector operation.
• Basic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers
