Morgan Steel LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Night Shift Superintendent/Foreman to oversee all night operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The role coordinates multiple departments, supports supervisors, resolves bottlenecks, and drives continuous improvement. You will coach staff, manage attendance, and maintain shift reports for day-shift leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication or metal manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams of 50+ employees preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/production systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all night shift manufacturing, fabrication, machining, warehouse, and shipping operations.
• Direct daily activities of supervisors, leads, and hourly staff across departments.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved with quality and on-time delivery.
• Monitor labor utilization and adjust staffing as needed.
• Promote safety policies, OSHA regulations, and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct regular safety, quality, and equipment walkthroughs; address concerns.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and prioritize repairs.
• Review production metrics and communicate status to day shift leadership.
• Coach and develop supervisors and staff; assist with hiring and performance management.
• Maintain shift reports and communicate priorities and goals to the team.
