Job summary

Zekelman Industries, a leading steel pipe and tube manufacturer, seeks a Production Supervisor for the Rochelle, IL facility. You will coordinate staffing, enforce safety, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Quality and Maintenance teams to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with familiarity in MES/SAP and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Associate degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as MES, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and production goals.
• Delegate responsibilities and maintain accountability for performance outcomes.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and initiate disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Hire, coach, develop, monitor, and evaluate team members.
• Perform quality checks on sites and equipment to ensure standards.
• Generate and review daily operational reports for shift continuity.
• Monitor and supervise cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate withQuality Department to develop site quality standards.
• Lead and implement actions to improve plant performance and efficiency.
