Job summary

Whitmore Manufacturing, an CSW Industrials affiliated business, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in Texas. You will develop and execute production plans, assign daily work orders, and monitor performance to meet schedules and quality targets.

You will foster a safe, collaborative environment, enforce quality standards, mentor staff, and coordinate with logistics, maintenance, and quality control to optimize throughput and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in a production supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure adequate resources are available to meet production schedules.
• Develop and implement production plans, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes in demand.
• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Assign daily work orders to the team to ensure efficient production flow.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
• Enforce quality control standards and monitor QA processes.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections and audits.
• Track KPIs to assess efficiency and effectiveness of production processes.
• Communicate with logistics, maintenance, and quality control to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for the team.
• Foster continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales to align production targets with customer requirements.
