Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a night shift quarry supervisor to lead and coordinate production activities, ensuring safe, efficient operations at our Texas quarry. You will monitor crushers, screens, and conveyors, maintaining product quality and uptime.

You will reinforce safety, guide team members, and partner with maintenance to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to work nights, and commitment to safe procedures in a heavy

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and effectively communicate with team members in a production or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of aggregate production, crushing, screening, conveying, or similar heavy industrial operations.
• Strong commitment to safety with the ability to recognize hazards, reinforce safe work practices, and support established procedures.
• Ability to prioritize work, solve operational problems, make sound decisions, and respond effectively to changing production needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer background check, post-offer pre-employment physical examination, and drug screen.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and navigate uneven or elevated surfaces throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed to support production activities.
• Ability to safely access and navigate quarry and plant equipment, including climbing onto and around crushers, screens, conveyors, and other production equipment for inspections and operational support.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and coordination, including using hand tools, operating controls, and handling materials or equipment.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform physical job duties for extended periods in an active quarry and production environment.
