Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor I to lead a manufacturing shift in its CS Power Systems unit. You will supervise production staff, coordinate daily activities, ensure safety, and drive efficiency improvements in a high-demand setting.

The role requires 1–3 years in supervision, Lean/Six Sigma exposure, strong communication, and the ability to work continental shifts. English is essential; Mandarin preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Mesquite area.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or related role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Able to work continental shift and flexible hours.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability.
• English communication; Mandarin preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate a production shift to meet goals.
• Monitor daily product and process concerns and address them.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and coordinate with teams.
• Ensure staff are trained and qualified before operating machinery.
• Provide leadership and foster positive staff relationships.
• Coordinate with operations to achieve company goals.
• Report performance and progress to shift staff.
• Uphold safety guidelines and company standards.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives with staff.
• Identify efficiency issues and propose improvements.
• Organize workflow and clarify duties to team.
• Coach employees and monitor productivity.
