Job summary

Hamilton Kent LLC in Winchester, TN is seeking a Production Lead Hand to join our manufacturing team on the night shift (7pm–7am). This role leads production activities, supports the Production Supervisor, and ensures safety, quality, and productivity on the floor.

You will coordinate work, monitor equipment, train staff, document downtime and incidents, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, HR and leadership to drive continuous improvement and smooth plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead production activities on a night shift and coordinate tasks.
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates during handovers and with management.
• Train, mentor, and support production employees.
• Maintain production records, downtime, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, HR, and Leadership.
• Step in as operator when needed to support staffing.
• Lead by example to foster a positive team environment.
