Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate production details to supervision and management
• Strong reading/writing in English
• Ability to perform math calculations (percentages)
• Ability to stand 8–10 hours on varied surfaces in hot/cold environments
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Flexible hours and ability to lift 5–50 lbs
• Maintain a good safety, attendance and performance record
• Prior experience operating production machinery preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in training employees to work safely and efficiently
• Adhere to GMPs and safety standards
• Monitor production quality and safety standards; report findings
• Follow break and lunch schedules and rotation plans
• Help achieve plant production goals and schedules
• Assist colleagues with department tasks and safety
• Participate in completing production and QC reports
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
