Job summary

Axalta has an Overnight Production Supervisor position in Mt Clemens, MI. The role ensures the daily production plan is executed safely and on time, following site safety rules and Axalta practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of team leadership in manufacturing, supervising 10+ direct reports and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet customer objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Team Leadership (Supervisory) experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Supervising at least 10 direct reports
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities to ensure safe, efficient, on-time execution of the production plan
• Communicate production schedules and status updates to meet objectives
• Lead Tier 1 meetings on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other support functions to minimize downtime
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and Axalta Way behaviors
