Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Sr Production Equipment Operator for the Altavista, VA (3rd shift) facility. The role involves safely operating and maintaining high-speed production equipment in the Nutrition division, with focus on accuracy of records, material supply, and compliant processes.

You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform on-line quality checks, and ensure proper product identification and expiration dates, while adhering to Abbott and FDA/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math, good verbal and written communication.
• Some mechanical aptitude.
