Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rocky Mount, Virginia, is hiring a Production Associate to fabricate components for final window assembly. The role involves a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with heavy lifting and hands-on work across multiple departments.

The position requires reading instructions, operating various tools, and following schedules. Training during a 6-week period may run Monday–Friday, 6a–6p, with a 3rd shift option offering a $1.50 differential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Operate equipment using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules; carry out written or verbal instructions.
• May support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials.
