Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Production Assembler for the C shift in Fairport, NY. You will set up and operate assembly equipment, rotate in other cells, and pack finished products for shipment.

Qualifications include strong English reading/writing, a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in assembly or lean manufacturing, and dexterity to use hand and power tools. Training on A shift is required before moving to C shift; shift hours are 10:30pm–7:00am.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficient English reading and writing.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
• Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to C shift.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Packs finished product for shipment.
• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
