Job summary

Sedron Technologies in Fair Oaks, IN is seeking a Process Operations Technician for a rotating night shift (6:00pm–6:00am, 4 on/4 off). You will operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, collect samples, and ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in process operations (fertilizer/chemical/manufacturing).
• High school diploma or GED required; chemistry/environmental aptitude preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret PFDs and PIDs; strong English comms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment per SOPs.
• Follow process instructions, safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee cold startup and bring plant equipment to steady operation after outages.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust for optimal conditions.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain records and contribute to regulatory/commercial reports.
• Identify deviations and troubleshoot equipment or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QC, and supervisors.
• Collect samples and perform plant control and lab tests.
