Empirical-Food is seeking an Operations Center Specialist to monitor and operate industrial processes and equipment according to approved plans. The role supports ongoing R&D testing and pilot runs for product and equipment development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or ability to perform essential job functions.
• Vocational/technical education is preferred.
• Mechanical and/or electrical background is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Remotely monitor and operate industrial equipment. Record, document, and communicate information related to production, downtime, and parameters; coordinate with plant personnel.
• Monitor and communicate information using equipment systems such as graphical screens, radio, telephone, and email.
• Follow established action plans to respond to routine and emergency situations (startup, CIP, and parameter deviations).
• Assist in developing and maintaining graphical systems; work with programmers to ensure accurate representations of systems.
• Collaborate with lead operations center specialists to optimize performance during high-demand situations and new systems.
• Ensure safety and security of people, equipment, and property; respond appropriately to incidents.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions and clearly communicate shift activity to the next team.
• May assist with phone duties and on-site training; travel to remote locations if required.
• Perform all essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• Other duties as assigned.
