Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Process Maintenance Technician I - Nights to identify potential issues and improve reliability of process equipment, reducing downtime for the designated process. You will assist in operating the assigned process and support low to moderate complexity issues.

Responsibilities include performing corrective and preventive maintenance, monitoring equipment, and participating in system reliability projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field is required or two years of maintenance experience with HS diploma.
• In lieu of degree, candidate with HS diploma and minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance experience is considered.
• Knowledge of automated records systems such as SAP and ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams is preferred.
• Experience with automated records systems (SAP) and reading technical drawings is a plus.
• Supports planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure process performance.

Responsibilities

• Actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment.
• Restore function to equipment in a timely and technically correct manner.
• Participate in and support event response.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned process.
• Operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes.
• Support reliability improvement projects for systems and equipment.
• Assist in all aspects of process operations.
• Record and review production data in Batch Production Records and forms.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties alignment.
