Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a maintenance professional to operate, maintain and manage plant process control systems across the Clayton site. You will ensure uptime and reliability by focusing on both personnel and equipment and support system installations and inventory management.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and adherence to cGMP and safety standards within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering or a relevant field of study required.
• High School Diploma with four years of relevant understanding of instrumentation & control systems required.
• Knowledgeable in process control systems preferred.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI hardware and software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting during process downtime.
• Inspect, troubleshoot & repair control system hardware.
• Perform routine, preventative & predictive maintenance.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures.
• Support control system equipment installations.
• Manage control system hardware inventory.
• Develop & manage plans to maintain & improve process control systems.
• Adhere to automation/IT standards and maintain training readiness.

Education

Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering or a relevant field of study

High School Diploma (GED) with 4 years of instrumentation & control systems experience

Tools

PLC (Rockwell, Siemens)

HMI (DeltaV, iFix)

SCADA (Syncade, PAS-X)

Historian (OSI PI, iBatch)
