Job summary

First Day Homecare in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (7p-7a) to provide in-home nursing care under an approved care plan and state Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will assess clients, supervise LPNs and HHAs, and collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure quality, safe care while upholding confidentiality and infection control standards. A BSN is preferred, current RN license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of operation.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments and client admissions/reassessments.
• Supervise LPN/LVNs and HHAs as directed.
• Report changes in client condition promptly to the medical team.
• Contribute to development of the client care plan.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
• Delegate tasks within legal scope of practice.
