Job summary

First Day Homecare - Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse to provide home health services under an approved care plan, following the Nurse Practice Act. The RN will assess clients, participate in care planning, and supervise HHAs as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in the state, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. A valid driver's license with insurance is required to meet client needs in the community.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in state of operation.
• BSN preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care under a medical plan per state Nurse Practice Act.
• Perform physical assessments and admissions/reassessments as directed.
• Supervise LPN/LVNs and HHAs per Clinical Supervisor guidance.
• Report changes to medical practitioner and care team.
• Contribute to client care planning and quality improvement.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional development.
• Adhere to agency policies, payor, and accreditation requirements.
