Job summary

HOODZ of Central Texas in the Fort Worth/Dallas area is seeking Cleaning Technicians to perform commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning. After training, you will gain the skills to complete jobs efficiently in a fast-paced environment and advance within the company.

You will work night shifts when restaurants are closed to support work-life balance and the company emphasizes growth, with opportunities to move into sales or management while maintaining safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and 3+ years of driving history.
• DPS records may be requested upon hire.
• Able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Reliable and punctual with safety procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work fast.
• Good communication with customers and team members.
• Desire to learn quickly in a growing company.
• Able to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Able to work in confined spaces, rooftops, attics, tight areas.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work overhead as needed.
• Comfortable overnight shifts and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning including pressure washing of hoods and ducts.
• Set up and break down job sites, manage ladders and equipment.
• Perform physically demanding labor such as scraping grease buildup and overhead cleaning.
• Work safely on ladders, rooftops, and elevated surfaces with equipment.
• Move through ductwork access areas and tight spaces to fully clean exhaust systems.
• Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing 50+ pounds during shifts.
• Maintain balance and control on wet/greasy surfaces during cleaning.
• Work in hot, greasy environments with strong odors and cleaning chemicals.
• Complete jobs independently with minimal supervision while upholding safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures to protect team members, clients, equipment, and property.
• Inspect and report issues with equipment and vehicles as needed.
