Cartamundi is hiring a Press Assistant for the B Shift at our Erlanger, KY facility. The role involves loading paper rolls, preparing splices, operating the Web Press feeder, and maintaining press readiness.

You will also manage ink fountains, stock feeding, and daily paperwork for each job, ensuring quality and efficiency. The position runs a multi-week schedule (Week 1: 4:45 PM–4:45 AM Mon–Thu, Week 2: 4:45 PM–4:45 AM Tue–Fri) and requires 1–3 years of offset printing experience, a high school

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of offset printing experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Load paper rolls onto the Web Press and prepare splices.
• Record paper roll details and make system entries for web press jobs.
• Monitor press supplies, ink fountains, and stock feeding; perform routine press maintenance.
