Job summary

Cartamundi East Longmeadow LLC is seeking a Pressman Level 2-3 for the third shift (10pm–6am) in East Longmeadow, MA. This full-time role operates and maintains printing presses to deliver high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience with multi-color presses, plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and a focus on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years operating printing presses.
• Ability to set up and adjust multi-color presses.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and routine maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with safety standards for press operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor printing presses according to job specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust press settings such as ink flow, pressure, and speed to achieve desired print quality.
• Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary corrections to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during press operation.
