Job summary

CCL is seeking experienced Press Operators for Night Shift in a facilities environment in New Jersey. Work hours are Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am, with an hourly rate from $22.00 to $28.00 plus a 15% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data.
• Basic experience with hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Punctual, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Open to overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Recent work experience as a Press Operator required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates press to print pressure sensitive labels.
• Read and interprets work order and job specifications.
• Verifies material, ink, tooling, plates and press settings; ensures color accuracy before production.
• Minimizes downtime and reduces waste through proper setup and operation.
• Maintains good housekeeping, follows GMPs and safe operating procedures.
• Troubleshoots and corrects production problems.
• Coordinates press changeovers and may assist in training as needed.
