Job summary

Printpack Inc. in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Press Operator for the night shift (7 PM–7 AM, Monday–Thursday). You will set up presses, change cylinders and rolls, mix inks, and monitor quality while meeting food-safety standards and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot problems; mechanical aptitude necessary.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to be self-directed and multitask.
• Basic computer skills with attention to detail when entering data.
• Proficient mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the press and set up including changing print cylinders, anilox rolls, ink, doctor blades.
• Produce material to specification and color match and adjust equipment for best speed.
• Accurately document and record information; monitor quality and food safety standards.
• Perform quality control tests to ensure customer specifications and troubleshoot issues.
• Input data accurately into a computer and ensure finished product meets customer specs.
• Wear PPE and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
