Job summary

Emerald Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Press Helper to support the press operator in keeping the press running safely and on schedule. You will gather materials, assist with setup, and help with repairs as needed while maintaining a clean work area.

This TEMP to HIRE position offers night shifts (Mon-Thu 4:00pm–2:00am) with overtime opportunities and a starting pay of $20.95 per hour, increasing with time. Medical, dental, life, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a ruler and tape measure for machine set ups.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating night shifts with overtime.
• Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather the film, cylinders, and inks needed to run the press.
• Read rulers and measurements to assist machine setup and operation.
• Return cylinders and film/ink to proper locations after a job finishes.
• Clean printing plates throughout the shift and assist operator as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; support operator and department manager.
