Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up, program, and operate hydraulic press brake equipment in our Santa Teresa, NM facility. You will bend and form metal components per customer specifications, ensuring quality and safe operation.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting punches and dies, programming controls, performing first-piece inspections, and maintaining records. The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

Requires High school diploma or GED.
Previous press brake, metal fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of measuring tools and quality inspection techniques.
Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate hydraulic press brake machines to manufacture metal parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
Select, install, and align punches and dies for each job.
Program machine controls based on bend deductions, dimensions, angles, and offsets.
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
Use measuring instruments to verify specifications.
Adjust machine settings to maintain quality standards.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues to supervisors.
Accurately complete production records and documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
