Job summary
Dentsply Sirona in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 pm–7:00 am).
The role covers troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting FDA-compliant manufacturing processes while maintaining safety and documentation standards. Associates in Mechanical Technology are favored, with PLC/CNC experience beneficial.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with preferred associates in mechanical technology.
- Three to five years in a related field and PLC experience.
- Experience with CNC, robotics, injection/compression molding is a plus.
- Ability to read safety rules, manuals and write reports.
- Basic math, measurement and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots/repairs pneumatic/hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
- Tests systems and documents results to identify issues.
- Installs hardware/software upgrades for equipment projects.
- Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Maintains safe work environment and updates documentation.
