Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Porter to maintain daily cleanliness, keep lobbies and common areas tidy, and respond to building management requests. You will help create a welcoming environment for tenants, employees and visitors.

The role requires a High School Diploma, at least 1 year as a Porter, and strong communication skills. Outdoor work in varying weather and physical fitness are expected. Mon-Fri 11am-7pm with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of Porter experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to keep areas tidy and presentable.
• Empty trash and replace liners in designated containers.
• Restock restroom supplies such as soap, towels and toilet paper.
• Wipe doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Respond promptly to spills, messes and tenant requests.
• Assist with moving furniture and setting up meeting spaces or events.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Follow all safety and cleaning protocols.
