Job summary

ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist for the Sleep Center on a part-time night schedule. You will perform PSG studies, CPAP/Bi-level titrations, and REM behavior testing, while coordinating with the clinical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and care for sleep disorders.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 12 months of polysomnography experience, and active BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of polysomnography experience.
• RPSGT certification or enrollment to obtain sleep credential.
• BLS certification required or enrolled to obtain credential.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
• Performs and scores polysomnography procedures such as CPAP/Bi-level, REM studies and PSG recordings.
• Maintains patient safety, confidentiality and follows standards of care and policies.
• Collaborates with the health care team to promote seamless patient care continuum.
• Maintains continuing education and licenses—acquires CEUs and renews registrations as required.
