Job summary

Providence is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for part-time night shifts in Santa Rosa, CA. This role conducts polysomnographic testing under supervision, monitors recordings, and ensures data quality.

The candidate will operate PSG equipment, prepare patients, and explain procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Requirements include RPSGT or NCSP, BLS within 30 days of hire, and 1 year of experience (2 years preferred).

Qualifications

• National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent required at hire.
• National Certified Polysomnographic Technician (NCSP) required at hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety and data quality.
• Safely operate PSG testing equipment and apply recording devices.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for sleep studies.
• Record and manage sleep/wake data and other physiological events.
